Panic swept through Buna as the eagerly awaited relief food distribution turned into chaos. Residents fled in fear as the plane staggered and ultimately crashed.
Halima Abdi, a Buna resident, described the terrifying moment when the plane staggered after takeoff, prompting a scramble for safety among the onlookers.
Details regarding the incident's cause, the number of individuals on board, and their conditions remain unknown. KDF is yet to release an official statement on the matter.
In a separate update, Wajir today witnessed another plane crash, further compounding the recent challenges faced by the region.
